Founder of Energy Strategy, Nicolas brings a comprehensive understanding of industry issues through his professional background.

Regulation, investment, commercial negotiation, mergers and acquisitions, project financing. Nicolas Bossé developed his expertise within major institutions in the energy sector.

An economist at the Bank of Canada, he then spent nearly a decade at Hydro-Québec before joining Brookfield Renewable for thirteen years, where he served as head of regulatory affairs and then senior vice president of strategy and growth initiatives. More recently, he led energy strategy at BrainBox AI, which was acquired by Trane Technologies in January 2025.

His expertise has been built from within organizations, rooted in real transactions and tangible impacts rather than theoretical analysis.
